 F. Howard Manning, age 58 has had a 36-year career in commercial, mortgage and private banking.  Mr. Manning currently resides in Austin, Texas.

Howard earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Economics and a minor in Finance from Creighton University in 1972, and a Masters in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Missouri in  1978. 

From 1972 until 1978 Howard worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as an Operations and Credit Bank Examiner.

During the next 20 years, he was employed in both money center and super regional banks including Citicorp,  Boatmen’s Banks, St. Louis, First National Bank in St. Louis and First National Bank in Kansas City, Missouri, and Worthen Banks, Little Rock, Arkansas.  Several of these organizations were ultimately acquired by Bank of America. Throughout this period Howard was a senior manager responsible for key banking divisions including commercial banking, mortgage banking and private banking.  He also held positions in Product Development and Cash and Treasury Management for a leading Midwest U.S. Cash Management Bank.

 From 1998 until 2005, Mr. Manning was the Founder, Organizing Principal and initial President and Chief Executive Officer for a de novo bank – Parkway Bank, National Association – chartered in Plano, Texas.  In 2005, Mr.  Manning and his partners sold out their interests in Parkway Bank.   

Beginning in 2005, Howard has been engaged as a consultant to the TelecomPioneers, the world’s largest volunteer organization, developing a suite of affinity financial services available to individual Telephone Company Pioneers and their Partners as well as the TelecomPioneers Chapters, Clubs and Councils. 

Mr. Manning provides consulting and debt resolution services for troubled commercial and commercial real estate loans.  He also represents both lenders and borrowers in “win-win” debt settlement negotiations and payment resolutions.

He also has been active in fund raising and development activities for grade schools and high schools in the communities where he has lived.
